CANCELLATION POLICY: Your appointment time has been reserved just for you and although things can come up that may inhibit you from attending, missed appointments or those cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full appointment fee.
DIRECT BILLING: We can direct bill to most major benefit companies for Physiotherapy, Registered Massage Therapy, and Acupuncture services. We are unable to bill directly for Kinesiology appointments, thus clients with this coverage will have to self submit.
ICBC CLAIMS: We charge our usual appointment fees which ICBC does not cover the full cost of, so there will be a user fee to be paid by the client. Please give us a call if you have any questions and to make sure your claim is active before booking!
WORKSAFE BC CLAIMS: We direct bill Worksafe clients for Physiotherapy only. This will cover the full cost of the appointment, so there is no user fee for the client. Please give us a call if you have any questions and to make sure your claim is active & approved before booking!

Sadie Wilson is a dynamic kinesiologist and active rehab specialist who brings a genuine passion for movement, health, and performance to every client she works with. A registered kinesiologist since 2023, she blends evidence-based practice with an energetic, encouraging approach that empowers individuals to feel and perform their best.
A former varsity volleyball player whose athletic journey took her from Nanaimo to Calgary to Abbotsford, shaping her understanding of high-performance training, resilience, and teamwork. This experience informs her practice today, where she emphasizes strength, mobility, and sustainable, long-term well-being.
In addition to her clinical work, Sadie serves as the Operations Manager at The Physio Shop, where she supports both clients and practitioners in creating an accessible, community-focused environment.

Madeline Woo
Madeline completed her Master of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia. Prior to this, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Saskatchewan.
During her undergraduate studies, Madeline was a student trainer for the USask Track and Field team, gaining valuable hands-on experience working with athletes and a range of injuries. Her time as a trainer along with competitively dancing for 18 years fuelled her passion for exercise and rehabilitation.
Madeline is committed to a collaborative approach to care, emphasizing patient involvement and building strong, supportive relationships. She treats a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions and has completed her Orthopaedic Level One Certification. Her treatment style combines evidence-based exercise prescription, manual therapy, and education to support each client’s unique recovery goals.

Trevor Potts
Most kids from Thunder Bay, Ontario grow up playing hockey, throwing snowballs, and camping in any conditions; Trevor is no different. He’s spent numerous hours on the ice and in the outdoors hiking, snowboarding, skiing, snowmobiling, fishing and hunting. With this type of active lifestyle from such a young age it is inevitable to find yourself in rehab settings. Trevor found interest in this process and went on to graduate with Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology from Lakehead U, has spent time in the doctorate of Chiropractic program at Northwestern HSU and obtained UBC’s Master of Physical Therapy degree. Trevor now consults with high level amateur and pro athletes ranging from Golfers, Olympic Lifters, Soccer Players, Sprinters, Baseball and Volleyball players to improve their movement efficiency. Strength and conditioning, performance and return to sport continue to be a major component of his practice, along with return to work and function for the general population. Trevor’s vision as the founder of The Physio Shop is to provide patients with the highest level of care and the best possible customer service experience. Emma Lofgren
Emma is a Kinesiologist at our clinic, having completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia in 2024. She is passionate about helping patients move with confidence and achieve their recovery and performance goals.
Her interest in kinesiology stems from being a lifelong athlete and having a curiosity about how the body moves, adapts, and recovers from injury. Experiences working through her own injuries inspired her to pursue a career where she can support others in returning to the activities they love. She hopes to continue her education in the future by pursuing physiotherapy.
With a background in soccer and ultimate, she understands the physical and mental demands of staying active and hopes to help a wide range of individuals, including athletes, those living with chronic pain, and people recovering from injury or accidents, through individualized exercise-based care to support long-term success.

Katelyn Jeffries
Katelyn grew up on Vancouver Island, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Victoria. She relocated to Vancouver to complete her Masters of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia, and has since fallen in love with everything the city has to offer.
Katelyn enjoys working with a variety of different client presentations, with a special interest in orthopaedic injuries. Her approach to treatment involves collaborating with the client to determine a plan that best suits their needs, while helping to support and guide them along their rehabilitation journey. Clients can expect a combination of manual therapy, exercise prescription, and education, with a focus on developing self management tools to help you get back to doing what is important to you.

Daniel Zhou
Dr. Zhou is a 2nd generation chiropractor with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Western States in Portland and a Master’s in Sports Medicine. Passionate about helping patients feel better and achieve their goals, he finds immense satisfaction in seeing the positive impact of treatment on others’ lives.
Outside of work, he enjoys staying active by running, going to the gym, and discovering new recipes to cook from reels or shorts. He loves painting miniature Warhammer figures and gaming with his brother with League of Legends and Minecraft being personal favourites. Always eager to explore new skills, he’s interested in trying pottery and other hands-on hobbies.

Masumi Turnbull Registered Physiotherapist MPT
Masumi believes movement is the key to living a healthy, fulfilling life.
Masumi graduated from the University of Toronto with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy and from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. He has worked as a physiotherapist for the Vancouver Canucks, Pacific Football Club, Vancouver Warriors, and Quest University Athletics, treating a wide range of amateur, professional and Olympic-level athletes. As a former NCAA Division I athlete and Canadian Under-20 National Soccer team player, he has experience training and competing at the highest levels. Masumi has taken courses towards a Diploma in Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Therapy and is a certified IMS practitioner. He has also held a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) designation. His specific interests include ACL rehabilitation, running-related injuries, and sport-specific rehabilitation.
Masumi currently volunteers with the Urban Native Youth Association (UNYA) at the Native Youth Health and Wellness Centre, providing accessible physiotherapy services for Indigenous youth aged 12-30 as well as with the All My Relations women’s basketball team.
When he’s not in the clinic you can find him running in the neighbourhood or on the North Shore trails with his two dogs, taking in the latest show at the York theatre, or trying to catch a wave in Tofino. Lina Konovalov
Lina is the newest (and only!) Acupuncturist at The Physio Shop. She joins us from Victoria, BC where she has been practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine since 2023.
Lina completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from McGill University in 2015, and from there went on to explore holistic healing and ancient wisdoms during a period of worldy travels. During this time, she studied at the renowned Sivananda Ashram and completed her 300 hour Yoga Teacher Training.
Her passion for yoga, movement, and spirituality prompted her to deepen her knowledge by studying at Pacific Rim College in Victoria. There, she completed her Diploma of Acupuncture in 2022 and became a Registered Acupuncturist with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists in 2023.
Lina’s formal training in Cosmetic Acupuncture and Myofascial Release provides options for patients wanting to explore both aesthetic and functional concerns. Furthermore, she has experience in treating many conditions, ranging from emotional dysregulation, acute and chronic injuries, to sleep and digestive concerns. Additionally, she employs Cupping, Gua Sha, Tui Na Massage, and Diet Therapy to tailor treatments to meet your unique needs.
